Hohner Clavinet Vst Free

26.12.2020

Accurately sampled from one of the funkiest keyboards ever created: the iconic D6 model Clavinet famous for its percussive playability and gritty sound. The original Clav has always held a special appeal in funk, fusion, rock and soul music for its unique melodic twang and sonic versatility, from brilliant, vibrant, nitty and gritty to soft.

Fender Rhodes electric piano, Hammond B3 organ, Farfisa combo organ, Hohner Clavinet, Wurlitzer E-piano, Mellotron & Arp Solina. And even the antic Theremin + some funky toys: Speak and Spell & Stylophone. This free VST from GTG is an emulation of a Juno6, it sounds very good. VST AU Ticky Clav 2 is an emulation of a Hohner Clavinet. Back by popular demand comes another remastered virtual instrument by Big Tick Audio. This time its Ticky Clav, quite possibly the first virtual instrument that used physical modeling to emulate the hugely popular Hohner D6 Clavinet, made famous by Stevie Wonder’s hit song Superstition.

Let’s go funk:

1. TickyClav by BigTick

The most popular VST for free Clavinet emulation : it’s nice and does what we want.
here’s a demo from uproar24 on youtube :

2. Topaz Clav 1 by Topaz Audio

A Synthedit VSt plugin : it’s based on sample (surely a soundfont), so it’s more limited, but the clav sound is good. The filter is pretty basic but together with the samples it does a good job.

3. Bonus Trax

According this post @ KVR, the Free VSTi String Theory by UGO is more than capable of doing funky Clavinet sounds : and that’s true !!Check the 64 “Segovia” preset in the factory sounds

There are also free clavinet soundfonts all around the interweb.
A free sf2 player like SFZ+ and some Clavinet D6 soundfont and here you go.

The Hohner Collection for Pianoteq consists in four famous Hohner® keyboard instruments: Electra-piano, Clavinet D6, Pianet N and Pianet T.

Hohner Clavinet E7

These are electro-mechanical pianos, manufactured by Hohner from the early sixties until the early eighties. They appeared in many hit records of that period, including 'I Am the Walrus' by The Beatles, 'She's Not There' by The Zombies, 'Stairway to Heaven' by Led Zeppelin and 'Superstition' by Stevie Wonder. The Hohner Collection is tested and authorized by Hohner.

In the Electra-piano, forks are struck by hammers and their electronically converted vibrations are transmitted to a transistorised amplifier.

In the Clavinet D6, strings are struck by small rubber tips and pressed on to an anvil. /free-alpha-bike-vst.html. Two pickups allow the amplification of the string vibrations.

In the Pianet N, reeds are plucked by electrostatic pick-ups and leather and foam pads. The resulting vibrations are converted into electrical signal via an electro-magnetic pick-up.

In the Pianet T, reeds are plucked by silicone rubber pads, resulting in a mellower sound typical of the seventies. https://clevergym525.weebly.com/blog/word-search-maker-download-mac.
